Qualification Levels according to DGUV 201-056

The planning, installation and maintenance of anchorage systems on roof surfaces requires qualified personnel. DGUV Information 201-056 defines two Qualification Levels for individuals entrusted with installing and inspecting permanently installed anchorage devices. These two levels ensure uniform standards and increase safety for those working in a fall danger zone.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18
  • Intellectual, personal and physical aptitude
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German

Qualification Level 1 (installation personnel)

A test (e.g. Installation Specialist for ABS Systems)  needs to be passed confirming that the respective knowledge level has been attained. This test serves as an objective confirmation that the content has been accordingly communicated.

Qualification Level 2 (inspection personnel)

A test e.g. ABS Systems Specialist) needs to be passed. The test taken at Level 2 includes topics covered in both Qualification Levels.. This test serves as an objective confirmation that the knowledge has been accordingly acquired
