Find out more about our ABS Lanyard Are you looking for a standard lanyard in a set length? Then add an ABS Lanyard to your PPE kit.

Our ABS Lanyard has a set length and stands for exceptional rope-up protection according to EN 354. This durable, high-quality, sharp edge-tested kernmantle cable offers you reliable protection for many years, if appropriately cared for and serviced. One end of the lanyard is equipped with a textile energy absorber (EN 355). If the secured individual steps over the edge and falls, the energy absorber arrests the fall by stretching to a strictly pre-defined extent,  thus reducing the ensuing force.

Roofers, workers at heights, maintenance and cleaning personnel can set up a strong connection between themselves and the respective anchor using the robust carabiner hooks at each end of the lanyard. Our ABS Lanyard can be used in combination with a single anchorage point, a lifeline system or a rail guard system. This arresting cable is typically red and is available in 3 set lengths: Choose between our 1, 1.5 and 2 m models.

Upon request, we can also supply our ABS Lanyard 1.5 and 2 m models with a larger pipe hook. This can then be used as a connector on scaffolding - in fact, anywhere, where a pipe or similarly-dimensioned anchorage option offers your PPE a sufficient load-bearing capacity.

Did you know: For long-term usage, your lanyards and other protection equipment must be regularly inspecting by a qualified PPE inspector. This inspector can recognise defects and provide you with the required seal of approval, with details of the next inspection due date, once your protection equipment has passed the examination. Such inspections are required by law at least once a year. Without these inspections, your lanyard may only be used for a maximum of twelve months after the respective purchase date (in as far as the product does not show any other signs of damage or similar defects).
