Find out more about our ABS Lanyard - for mobile elevating work platforms Lanyard with energy absorber for mobile elevating work platforms

Professionals can use our ABS lanyard for mobile elevating work platforms to prevent themselves from being thrown off a platform - which can be extremely dangerous. Our lanyard has been tested and certified according to EN 354 and is equipped with a lanyard energy absorber in compliance with EN 355. In the event of a fall, the textile energy absorber is stretched to a pre-defined extent, thus minimising the ensuing force to a maximum of 3 kN. It is necessary to take this precaution as the anchorage devices installed on a mobile elevating work platform are not designed to absorb this amount of energy.

Our ABS lanyard consists of a sturdy strap and is suitable for individuals weighing up to a maximum of 140 kilogrammes. The strap can be adjusted to any length between 140 cm and 180 cm. When a user falls out of the cage, this subjects the mobile elevating work platform to additional stress. Our lanyard has also been successfully tested to cope with such situations in accordance with DIN 19427.

Our lanyard for mobile elevating work platforms is equipped with a carabiner hook for attaching it to a safety harness. At the other end, it also has an ergonomically-designed, one-handed carabiner so you can easily hook it up to an anchorage device on the platform.
