Aluminium rail safety system for flat roof PV systems supplied by Ernst Schweizer

Our ABS AluTrax Ernst Schweizer model is a permanently-installed rail safety system that was specially designed for Ernst Schweizer’s east-west, south and green flat roof PV systems.

The innovative aluminium rail runs around two sides of your PV modules in an L-shape and provides a robust guide for the integrated glider. This allows you to move easily all around your modules without having to stop - and without having to continuously reposition your carabiner.

Whether you need to service, clean or do any other maintenance work: This system ensures that roof professionals are safely hooked up and secured at all times. The well thought-out design not only increases safety, but also improves your workflow. The system has been approved for one individual and can be fitted straight onto the aluminium supports of PV modules that have been installed using weights. Alternatively, the system can also be retrofitted. Important: To ensure the system can be used safely, your PV system must weigh at least 812 kg.
