Product information ABS Guard OnTop Fusion

Simply install this high-quality guard rail, which is made of aluminium and stainless steel, on a bitumen or fabric-reinforced plastic membrane - completely penetration-free. The guard rail is 1100 mm high (handrail) and is suitable for roof pitches of up to 10°.

This guard rail can be implemented as a natural conducting component in a lightning protection system (100 kA) in accordance with EN 62305-3.

Unique solution for bitumen and PVC roof surfaces! Our ABS Guard OnTop Fusion guard rail system is designed for penetration-free installation on flat roofs with a maximum pitch of 10°. Special feature: No counterweights are needed to set up this guard rail system. Our ABS Guard OnTop Fusion system is simply welded onto a bitumen or fabric-reinforced plastic membrane - keeping your roof watertight.

What makes this guard rail system so special is its extremely lightweight design. An ABS Guard OnTop Fusion post only weighs around 3 kg. In comparison, a standard guard rail post (weighted down using its own weight) can weigh up to - or even over 30 kg, due to the weights needed. Not only does the fact that our ABS Guard OnTop weighs so little take the worry out of transporting it - it also ensures that the maximal permissible load of your roof surface is not exceeded.

Another advantage: Flexible angular elements make light work out of bridging differences in height and can be flexibly adjusted to go around corners. There is also no need to do any drilling when installing the components. The handrails are simply installed using practical clamp covers and can be shortened in a matter of minutes using a tube cutter.

Our ABS Guard OnTop Fusion model is tested for wind load in accordance with EN 13374:2013, A (certified with a DEKRA seal of approval) which guarantees it remains stable in a gale. Our high-quality aluminium guard rail is supplied with straight posts and can be equipped with an optionally available toeboard or an ABS Guard OnTop Gate.
