Our ABS Guard OnTop Wood is the perfect temporary safety solution for installing wooden building components on a high rise construction site. This robust aluminium guard rail defies wind and weather, is particularly lightweight and is easily customised to the right size. All you need is a tube cutter to shorten the hand and knee rails. Simply seal up using clamp-on caps afterwards - done.
All you need to firmly fix the guard rail supports - which are remarkably lightweight - in place is 8 screws per stand. Using a cordless screwdriver, you can install our ABS Guard OnTop Wood in a matter of minutes. This works on OSB boards, wood panelling and any other load-bearing wooden surface.
The main purpose of our ABS Guard OnTop Wood side protection solution is to prevent falls whilst installing ceiling components. The system fulfills the requirements of the binding Swiss guideline on implementing the Construction Regulation (Bauarbeitenverordnung = BauAV). However, you can also use the system as a side protection solution on other wooden building components.
