According to accident statistics, falling from a ladder is one of the most common causes of serious accidents at the workplace. Particular care must be taken to ensure that step ladders which are worked from on a temporary basis - or which are used to access areas higher up, are set up safely in accordance with DGUV Publication 208-016 and TRBS 2121, Part 2. Our ABS LaddQuick (Step) was specially developed to secure a step ladder reliably – quickly, easily and without tools.

The system is simply clamped between two steps of the step ladder using its stainless steel springs. This ensures your ladder is safely attached to a gutter, a guard rail, a fence or other load-bearing surface - thus preventing it from tipping over or slipping sideways. This effectively fulfils the requirements of TRBS 2121, Part 2, which aims to ensure that ladders used for climbing purposes have a firm footing.

The device is made completely of high-quality, weather-resistant stainless steel – suitably robust to cope with daily usage on a building site and usage by manual workers. Thanks to its compact design, ABS LaddQuick (Step) can be easily moved from one workplace to another. Installation is done in a matter of seconds – no drilling or tools required.
