Find out more about our ABS-Lock DH06 Simply clamped into place: Roof safety hook for metal seam roofs

Looking for a roof safety hook that is installed without needing to penetrate the roof surface? Our ABS-Lock DH06 fits the bill perfectly. Simply clamp the device to the seam of your rounded-edge or standing edge seam roof. As the system is attached to a single seam, you can install it irrespective of the distance between the individual profiles. Our ABS-Lock DH06 is designed to secure 1 individual from fatal falls. In addition, our roof safety hook, which has been certified in accordance with EN 517:2006, type B, also doubles up as a ladder hook.

The clamping profile of the roof safety hook is placed on top of a seam and then secured using 4 nuts and bolts. Our ABS-Lock DH06 can be installed on stainless and galvanised steel seam roofs ≥ 0.5 mm. Roof sheeting made of copper or titanium zinc must be at least 0.6 mm thick. Aluminium roofs must have a depth of at least 0.7 mm.

Our ABS-Lock DH06 is manufactured from high-quality stainless steel and can be used and accessed from all sides. In the case of a fall, the amount of force exerted on the substructure is relatively small as the anchor is installed so low. To prevent a fall, the roof safety hook should be implemented as a retention system, if possible. Your lanyard, which is part of your personal protective kit (PPE), should be adjusted and shortened accordingly.
