Product information ABS-Lock X-H-16

This anchorage point (Ø 16 mm) has been awarded national technical approval ("abZ"). It is equipped with a base plate (200 x 200 mm) and is screwed straight onto the wooden panelling. Our standard package includes 16 high-quality screws which - like the whole system - are manufactured from weather-resistant stainless steel material.

  • EN 795:2012, A + CEN/TS 16415:2017
  • National technical approval (“abZ”): OSB ≥ 22 mm, or similar, e.g. tongue and groove boards or glulam planks
    Optionally, the device can be installed using an additional 12 mm OSB board: Wood ≥ 20 mm, OSB ≥ 18 mm
  • EN 795: Wood ≥ 24 mm, OSB ≥ 18 mm
    Optionally, the device can be installed using an additional 12 mm OSB board: Wood ≥ 20 mm, OSB ≥ 12 mm

A fall arrest device installed on a wooden surface that is only 24 mm thick? No problem for our ABS-Lock X-H-16 anchor. This single anchorage point can even be installed on OSB boards only 18 mm thick (22 mm according to the "abZ" specifications). This is made possible through the implementation of a stainless steel rod which is specially designed to buckle under the force of a fall so as to convert lever force into propulsive force.

Our ABS-Lock X-H-16 anchorage device is manufactured completely from stainless steel materials and includes a base plate (200 x 200 mm). Add a matching supporting tube to upgrade your ABS-Lock X-H-16 for use as an intermediate or end post in a lifeline system to secure as many as 4 users.

This anchor has been awarded national technical approval for installation on an OSB or comparable surface (e.g. tongue and groove boards or glulam planks) and has also been additionally tested and labelled for installation on a wooden surface in accordance with EN 795.
