Good rope-up protection prevents fatal collisions - and using our special rescue device ensures that fall victims are rescued promptly. This robust device is equipped with a lifting function which you can use to first lift up suspended individuals before detaching their personal fall protection equipment (PPE). Then you can lower the victims slowly and safely to the ground before initiating further action and administering medical treatment. The rate of descent during the lowering process is slowed to an average of 0.8 m/s either manually or using the integrated braking system.
A fall victim must be rescued and freed from a suspended position within the space of a few minutes. The injuries caused by the fall itself and through hanging in a harness without moving can have life-threatening consequences. Our ABS MRG9 Easy rescue device lets you react quickly in such emergency situations. This particularly compact abseiling and rescue device is equipped with a practical handwheel which makes it easy to lift a fall victim. Our ABS MRG9 Easy rescue device is designed, depending on variant, for abseiling distances of up to 160 m and has been approved for 2 individuals with a total maximum weight of 200 kg. The device is supplied with a rotating trilock carabiner suspension bracket which prevents the device from twisting.
Our rescue device is delivered in a securely sealed transport drum made of robust plastic material. Due to its meticulous shrink-wrapping, the device can remain in the unopened drum for up to 10 years and is virtually maintenance-free - an annual inspection of the seal is all that is required. This means that you do not need to send the device in for servicing - saving you time and avoiding outage periods. Of course, we are happy to provide you with the necessary instruction for using our rescue equipment. This can either be carried out as part of an instruction session conducted in accordance with the DGUV R 112-199 statutory accident insurance regulations or separately, if such instruction in the measures for the simple rescue of individuals from heights and depths has already been provided. Please contact us for more information on our range of accessories and supplementary personal fall protection equipment (PPE).
