Throughout the year - in summer and in winter - our stainless steel anchorage points are exposed to outdoor temperatures. Use our ABS Therm thermal protective covers for the best-possible insulation of the anchors and supports in your lifeline system. Once you have installed your anchorage device on top of the roof membrane, the protective cover is simply placed over the support. You can choose between a cover for stainless steel supports that are 16 mm in diameter and covers for anchorage points that have been reinforced with a supporting tube (Ø 42 mm).
All our ABS Therm protective covers are made of high-quality UV-resistant and weather-proof synthetic material. Our standard thermal cover is 330 mm high and can be shortened to fit onsite. The covers are not generally sealed up which means that they can be adapted to perfectly fit the support.
To not only ensure that your anchorage device does not unintentionally act as a thermal bridge in the cold season but that it is also easy to locate, you can also equip your anchor or system support with an ABS Signal rod. This rod is 800 mm long and can be easily attached to a thermal protective cover to peek out through the snow, acting as a marker. As it is bright yellow it is very easy to see. This lets you locate your anchorage device quickly and you do not have to search around for it in the snow without being properly secured.
